Good to visit with you at the Feb 20 meeting Pete!
I have fun, and as you saw, lots of new projects to work on......(so little time, so many kits to build).
I am happy to see the club chugging along like a well oiled machine - kinda like the R/C Tiger shooting it up in the club room!
Cheers, Eric |

Hey, Were you the guy who bought the 2 dragon figure sets? Or are you the one who bought the leopard 2? M4A2Sherman |

Well Q, I bought the two dragon sets - German figures (artillary loading crew and Peiper with staff). What were you selling or buying that night (did I get some kits from you)?
It is a little sad, but I am seeing more and more people selling kits on behalf of people who have passed on. It is a great opportunity to get some long out of production kits - like I picked up some Matchbox figures I used to play with as a kid.
I wonder if some day someone will be doing the same thing with my collection! I hope to build a lot of it, or give a lot of it away, or maybe my kids would like them later on in life.
Cheers, Eric |

Yeah, I think you are the one who bought the Peiper with staff and German paratroops (modern) from me. It was great! M4A2Sherman |

Oh, yes I remember now who you were Q. You liked building German subjects, and were selling some kits. I have many kits in that subject - I also have the same Leo 2 by ESCI which I have not built.
I think when I was your age we didn't take making model kits that seriously, and made them to "play" with in the sandbox or in the backyard with friends. Sometimes we would "blow them up" with firecrackers. It is good to see some younger people still interested in making kits! That night I also bought some plastic figures that I had when I was a kid, so that brought back some fun memories. Good to meet you and thanks for selling me your kits, Eric |

Friendly bump! I thought the IPMS Vancouver's Fall show is on the Saturday, the 10th of October (not the 11th right Joker?). I'll be sure to visit and check out the displays of the contest and the vendors...... Hope to see all you there! Eric |

Sorry to all, I was bumping the 38th annual show, but that was last year! I meant to reference the 39th annual IPMS Vancouver show for this year on the 10th of October 2009! My apologies to Joker and the local IPMS Vancouver organization for the oversight on dates. I will be there to enjoy the annual gathering/show/competition and vendors as always it is a good day! Cheers! Eric |
