YAF generic sets
Yugoslav Airforce Roundels, Flags & Numbers
  • move

by: Entoni Seperic [ ESEPERIC ]

Balkan Models presents two generic sets of roundels, flags and numbers in two separate sets:
  • #BM-7203 YAF Roundels & Flags;
  • #BM-7204 YAF Numbers.
The roundels and flags set is particularly well executed, and brings a nice selection of three-sized roundels, and two-sized fin flags for various aircrafts operated by the YAF: MiG-21, Soko G-4, Soko G-2,Soko J-21, Soko J-22, T-33, F-84, F-86, F-47D, C-47, Ju-52, Il-14 and Il-18, Canadair CL-215, S-55, Mi-8, Gazelle… The possibilities are virtually endless, but only if you have the numbers set as well. The numbers set brings several types of YAF black and white tactical and serial numbers, which is very nice and most welcomed.

These sets will be of interest to all fans of the ex-Yugoslav Airforce, and will surely make their life much easier in terms of possibilities. The decals are pristine, very well printed, crisp and in high color density. Having used them before, I know they go along nicely with decal solutions. However, you are advised to test your brand before, as well as consult your references for the exact info on the particular aircraft that you intend to build.

I returned to plastic modeling in 2010 after a break of almost 20 years. Seemed like an opportunity to exercise some patience, and relieve tension. I am concentrating on WW2 aircraft, particularly Luftwaffe and the aircraft that are somehow connected with this part of the world. Some skills are comi...
