Introduction
If you never used a sheet of masks made by Eduard (or any other company), you should know that they are mainly meant to cover the areas of clear parts (canopies) before applying the camouflage colors. By using masks, one can achieve a finish that is far superior than the result one would achieve with a brush.
Of course it is possible to cut masks oneself, but this is sometimes very difficult when the canopy frames have a complex design. In the case of Japanese WWII aircraft, it is often the case, so Eduard's set of masks can be very useful.

F1M Pete EX270
This small sheet has been designed for Hasegawa's new and excellent 1/48 scale F1M Pete model kit. With the masks provided, it is possible to cover the glazings of the pilot and the observer's stations. Alternative masks are provided if you want to do the rear canopy in the opened or closed position. The windows have round corners and this has been accurately rendered on the masks by Eduard.
Instructions are printed in B&W on a small A5 sheet of paper.

Eduard's 1/48 scale F1M Pete masks sheet is available from Eduard

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here on AeroScale.
