Panther/Jagdpanther Skirts

introduction
Along with the plethora of 1/48 kits being released, we are now getting a plethora of 1/48 upgrade sets from the aftermarket sector. This set of sideskirts for either the Panther Ausf.G or Jagdpanther from Tamiya continues the trend.

the set
The set consists of just one fret, and a one-sided instruction sheet. On the fret there are 10 schurzen, with appropriate hanging holes, and also the small rectangular hanging brackets which will require folding into place.

I must admit to being puzzled by the provision of the larger part of the hanging brackets shown on the instructions? As far as I know they are not provided in the Tamiya kit, and they're certainly not provided in this Aber set. They're shown on the Aber instructions, along with an instruction to bend them, but not given a parts number, so if anybody has an idea as to what I'm missing here, then please let me know and I'll amend this as necessary!

conclusion
Notwithstanding my bewilderment on where the brackets shown on the instructions come from, I can still recommend this set as it will allow you to not only add the schurzen should you wish, since there are none in the kits, but also to realistically depict battle damage! >/p>
SUMMARY
Aber have produced this simple update set to enable the modeller to add schurzen to either the Tamiya Panther Ausf.G or Jagdpanther, and it's so simple it should be a breeze to install!
