Introduction
Kinetics 1/48th scale T-Harrier is a very welcome release, but it does need updating in some departments, and the seat belts are no exception. The Eduard set completely transform this area, which if truth be told Kinetic' s belts are far inferior in quality and looks.

In the bag

Packed in the now standard sealed bag, with a cardboard insert, the contents contain one fret and a set of instructions.

The fret is for the most part pre-coloured, and contains belts for both seats in the T Harrier.
Each seat gets 11 parts, with all but three pre-coloured.

None of the parts are overly tiny, and only a little bending is needed, so etch wise this is a very easy set to work with.

The first parts to be attached are the three non painted parts, which are two data plates(?), and a part that sits between the headrest and back cushion for holding the harness in place.
A four part lap belt is then added, with the ejection handle added after all the harness's are in place.
A two part shoulder harness is attached to the back of the seat and last is the two leg straps.
Now as this is for the two seater Harrier this all needs to be done twice, but fear not, as this set is possibly the easiest seat belt set I have ever used. The parts go on well, there is little bending and other then painting three parts, its all painted for you.

Instructions
The instructions are printed in a black and white line drawing and are well drawn and easy to follow, with the kit parts to be replaced or updated clearly marked. The instructions are easy to follow even if you have never attempted Photo etch before.
As with all the latest Eduard sets and kits the instructions can be found on the product page on Eduard's website.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.

About Andy Brazier (betheyn)
FROM: ENGLAND - SOUTH EAST, UNITED KINGDOM

I started modelling in the 70's with my Dad building Airfix aircraft kits. The memory of my Dad and I building and painting a Avro Lancaster on the kitchen table will always be with me. I then found a friend who enjoyed building models, and between us I think we built the entire range of 1/72 Airfi...
