Sword have announced that they will be soon releasing in 1/72 a P-47N and the Seafire L MkIIc. Both aircraft seem to share the common feature of clipped wings. The artwork for the box illustration looks particularly good.

P-47N.

Seafire L Mk.IIc.

Prices of these kits are to be confirmed.

Might be time to try one of these Sword kits. I had a 1/72 scale P-47N, by Italeri, that I finished. Was reasonably happy with it, then I knocked it off it's perch. It entered a flat spin and had an unhappy ground/aircraft interface. In other words, kablooey! Kit destroyed. Yikes! I would like to try another P-47N, so this might just fit the bill. Russell
