Sky-High have released one of my favourite helicopters, the Mil Mi-2 NATO named Hoplite. This small and attractive helicopter is lightly armoured, but could pack a punch as it could be armed with 57mm rockets and a 23mm cannon when used for close air support. First introduced in 1965, the Hoplite has been also used in it's time as a civil aircraft. It looks like there are markings for eight aircraft.
Kit type: short run injected plastic.
Cat no: SKY-72026.
Price: 9.75 euros.

Nice kit, great decal options, but come on, we already have plenty of Mi-2s in this scale. What we really need is a Hoplite in 1/48 scale. Of course, there is the toylike and hard-to-find Smer Hoplite, so I guess I should say, we need a new Hoplite in 1/48.
