Kitsworld American Nose Art P51D Mustang - 1/72 scale Decal Sheet

This Kitsworld decal sheet comes with 4 aircraft schemes based on artwork designed and painted by crew chief/staff seargent Donald E Allen, which adorned the silver P51Ds of the 334th fighter squadron."Iron Ass" was a departure from the normally scantily clad girl- theme. Whilst "My Achin Back" was most likely a reference to a common complaint by pilots suffering 8 hour flights on a rock hard parachute/seat! "Sweet Arlene" was based on a photo of the pilots wife "Jan", was also taken from a photo supplied by the pilot.
