Modelimex have released sprue-shots of AZ Model's new injected kit of that archetypal aerobatic plane - the Pitts Special S.2.
AZ Model have a series of 4 kits planned, covering both the single seat (S.1) and two seater (S.2) versions. The model is produced using semi- short run moulding for the main styrene parts, injected windscreens (and canopy in later versions), with a resin engine face and etched details. Colourful decals are provided for two schemes.

The first of the kits - AZ4837 Pitts Special S.2 "Early" is available at Modelimex now, price 17.00 €.

Thanks Rowan I was watching one of these doing a low level display yesterday. When the later kit comes out (with the canopy) I may just get one!
