July looks set to be a busy month for Eduard. The big news is undoubtedly the expansion of their highly regarded 1:48 Bf 110 range to include later versions, with the 'G-2 taking the lead as the first release.

Also new are Weekend Editions of the Grumman F6F-5 Hellcat and Fokker E.V (D.VIII), plus a generous selection of etched sets and masks.

I understand the Fokker E.V but what are those other winged thingies? They can't be aircraft . . . Not saying I am locked into WWI or anything. . .

I wonder whatever happened to the 1/48th scale MiG-21 series that was supposed to be released? Academy already does a 1/48 MiG-21, and Revell is re-releasing theirs this year, but still, I was looking forward to seeing the Eduard kits. I had a sort of forlorn hope that one of them would be a Chengdu F-7 "Airguard," a way long shot, I know, but still.

Hi I talked to the staff at Nuemberg and I had posted this here in Jean-Luc's thread, but here it is again: the MiG-21 is in design phase and is progressing but it runs on low steam (German WW2 subjects just generates more money flow, but that is just my impression and not from the Eduard guys) It definitely is not cancelled (according to the info I got there) The F4 Phantoms are postponed to see what the "crazy Chinese" (original comment) are doing ... so I guess we will have to wait until Vladimirs New Year announcements to see if there is something to come next year ... Tamiya-san also announced a great News offensive in an interview with Scott Hards (can be seen at HLJ), so they maybe also wait what is comming from the faaaar east. all the best Steffen P.S. I look forward to the Fokker and 110G-2

Hi Steffen Yes - Eduard's order form was waiting for me when I got home tonight and the new items look stunning! I was planning to hand over to Jean-Luc, but it looks like he picked the wrong month to take a holiday! Ohh well, it's a hard life - what a great way to finally step back from full-on reviewing! All the best Rowan
