The HK Models 1/48th B-17G Flying Fortress has numerous glazed areas that cry out for a masking set and DN Models have heard your cries and released a set.
B-17G Flying Fortress (Early) Canopy, Windows & Wheels Paint Mask Set 1/48th
Suggested scale - 1/48th
Suggested kits - HK Models B-17G Early Production #01F001
Price - $16.99
SKU - 48/827-070

Re-usable die-cut camo mask set – All versions featured in #01F001 are included.
The set includes two sheets of masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. Material is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.

The B-17G Canopy and Windows are numerous and hard to preserve intact while painting. This set is designed for HK Models’ G-version kit, which is the first one released from the company in 48th scale. As a bonus, this set comes with wheel paint masks. All turrets included on the sprues are included, which covers all different turret variations. B-17 canopy features various in size and shape windows, plus the kit is designed with interior, that is why the set features masks for both inside and out.

The B-17G Flying Fortress (Early) HK Models #01F001 is the first 48th scale kit from HK Models. This kit is more affordable in price and with more reasonable dimensions compared to HK Models’ 32nd scale B-17 Flying Fortress series of kits. Since the larger scale B-17 from the Chinese company features Late G- and F-versions of the Flying Fortress, such options should be expected in quarter scale as well. The kit comes with great quality and is one of the best representations of B-17 Flying Fortress on the market in any scale. DN Models’ Markings and insignia for the B-17G Flying Fortress (Early) #01F001 are available as a mask set as well.
