I waited too long last time this kit was out. I need to jump on it this time.

Hi, Russ! The EDUARD P-39/P-400 kits are widely acclaimed- The main thing to watch for is that you'll need ample weight in the nose in order to prevent your P-39/P400 from becoming a "tail-sitter". Secondly, (if EDUARD hasn't already "corrected" this little flaw), is you will want to sand down the TRAILING EDGES of the Main Wing(s), as these will be just a wee-bit too thick once assembled, IF the sanding down hasn't already been done. Also, pay attention to which PE Instrument Panel you install- The P-39's Instrument Panel was slightly different from the P-400's... Otherwise, in my opinion, these are the best P-39/P-400 kits out there in 1/48 scale- The parts practically "fall-together" a la TAMIYA model kits... VR- Dennis

Thank YOU, Tim! These are great kits, and modelers of WWII aircraft should be happy with these kits! i'll be buying another one or two of these! VR- Dennis
