Surprise from Kinetic Models is the announcement that they will be releasing what looks like a new tool quarter scale F-104G Starfighter in June
”The surprise release is the new brand new 1/48 F-104G.

Some of the highlights:
1. Avionics bay
2. C-2/GQ-7A ejection seat
3. Radar
4. Detail Landing Gear Bay

This kit is under the "Kinetic Gold" series where all tooling quality/design is based on the new standard. In addition, the detail surface will make use the mirror EDM system to provide shine polished surface detail specially cater the bare metal finish marking. The kit will go for delivery in June 2019.”

When I was in Hong Kong I met with Kinetic's Raymond Chung and he showed me the graphic. It looks like another winner from Kinetic that will sell in both Asia and the European market. Certainly has to be better than the Italeri kits of the same plane in 1/32nd scale.
