Special Hobby are all set to release their 1:32 kit of the Fi 103 / V-1 - the infamous "Doodlebug" or "Buzz-Bomb", as it was nicknamed by the Allies.
Item #SH32071 - Fieseler Fi 103 / V-1
A model of the German unmanned missile, the infamous V-1 flying bomb which was designed and used for terror bombing of London and the UK. When the Allies invaded France, the missiles were also aimed at Antwerp, Liege and Brussels, both from land-based launch sites and aircraft.

The kit contains three grey styrene sprues, a decal sheet and full colour instruction leaflet. The decals cater for three machines wearing different styles of camouflage schemes.

* Detailed and extremely accurate model
* Never kitted before in this scale
* Contains not just the missile, but its handling trolley too
* The camouflage options show different types of colour schemes worn
* Accurate decals with stencils

I assume when it says "never before kitted in this scale" they mean by Special Hobby? Because my Bronco V-1 would beg to differ if they mean by any company.

Zoinks! Well, in that case I'd like my crow served fried with a side of mashed potatoes.

I’m not a V-1 “kit expert” but have built it in various scales over the years and this is the first kit offering in 1/32 scale from a “mainstream” kit manufacturer (and it’s about darn time too!). Here are some scales I’ve built over the years: Heller-1/72 Tamiya-1/48 Monogram-1/48 (with HE111H) Bronco-1/35 (they offer the FI103 and FI106) Pegasus-1/12 I think there are at least two other offerings in 1/72 from less “well known” manufacturers whose names escape me right now. There are also some older resin kits out there, and Azimut made one in 1/35 scale with a launch rail section I think. This new release will fit well in 1/32 aircraft collections where the 1/35 versions were a little underscale. VR, Russ
