Avantegarde Model Kits has released images of the progress so far on the 1/48 scale Grumman F-14 Tomcat
”The first wing mould, EDM tools for this mould, and the plastic testing. Still many to be fixed.”

The wing does look impressive with the separate flaps and spoilers and internal detail.

OMG!! that wing section is incredible. Looks more like what you would expect in a 1/32 scale kit. I'm drooling waiting for this release, and the main reason why I haven't gotten the Tamiya kit as yet. joel

If you are in the market for a wings extended version of the F-14 then this looks like the one to buy. Of more interest to me though personally, what's happening with their promised 1/48 MIG 25? Gary
