After an absence of three years, Cooper Details has re-emerged with a new website and 21 new products to add to your stash of ever increasing modeling products.
Cooper Details is a Cottage Industry Company that produces aftermarket detail sets for aircraft-primarily WWII British and German and immediate post-war aircraft. Roy Sunderland, the President of Cooper Details , opened his doors for business in 1990 and has been producing some of the most accurate and well-researched aftermarket items available. The name "Cooper Details" is a tribute to Roy's late father-David Cooper Sutherland.

The new Cooper Details website is very clean and easy to navigate, and provides several interesting details besides their product listings of aftermarket items in 1/48 and 1/72 scale. Of note, check-out the 'June 2003 Newsletter' and the 'About Cooper Details' features by following the links on the left menu. The 'About Cooper Details' link features the history of the company back 150 million years as well as some great family history. Be sure to check-out "Roys Rants", some "no-holds barred kit reviews and general rivet counting stuff" for some great insight into popular kits and historical information. While your poking around the site, take a peak at the gallery and artwork sections as well.

The Cooper Details catalog is available online and is also available for download in PDF format. According to their "Order" page, Cooper Details was to announce five new products at the IPMS Nationals in Oklahoma City. As soon as I find out what they are, I'll post an update.

That's about all I have on Cooper Details at the moment. I'll keep you informed as their website is updated. In the meantime, head over to Cooper Details and see what they have to offer.
