Special Hobby have sent us details of a plethora of resin upgrade sets aimed at both their own new 1:32 Hawker Tempest and the out of production PCM kit.
129-Q32240 - Tempest Mk. II/V/VI - Control column
Detailed control column designed to enhance the look of your Tempest model interior. Besides resin parts the set comprises also a PE fret.

129-Q32241 - Tempest Mk. II/V/VI– Early and late cannon barrels
Detailed cannon barrels resin cast parts depicting both types used with the Tempest. The long barrels fit only the Tempest Mk.V ser.1 aircraft while all the later aircraft were fitted with shorter barrels.

129-Q32242 - Tempest Mk. II/V/VI- Main wheels late type
Nicely detailed resin later type wheels with smooth tyres and realistically weighted appearance.

129-Q32243 - Tempest Mk.V/Typhoon Mk.I - Main wheels early type
Nicely detailed wheels with weighted tyres for the Typhoon fighter and early series of the Tempest.

129-Q32244 - Tempest/Typhoon - Tail wheel with strengthened leg
Realistically weighted and nicely detailed tail wheel with its leg, made to fit Typhoon and Tempest models. The leg itself is cast from special heat-hardened resin material to endure the weight of the model and not to get broken or bent. Tailored to fit Special Hobby kit, if Pacific Coast model is to be used the modeller is advised to adapt the tail wheel leg attachment point in the fuselage.

129-Q32245 - Tempest/Typhoon - Pilot's seat with harness
Finely detailed pilot's seat cast with the belts. Suitable for Tempest or Typhoon models.

129-Q32246 - Tempest/Typhoon - Pilot's seat
Nicely detailed pilot's seat made to enhance the detail levels of your Typhoon or Tempest models.

129-Q32247 - Gyro gunsight Mk.II - for late Tempest and other fighters (2 pcs)
The Mk.II Gyroscopic gunsight was used in the post-war Tempest fighter versions but the modeller may also make use of them in another Britain's fighter plane models such as the Spitfire, Meteor and others. The set comes with photo-etched parts and a piece of clear film.

129-Q32248 - Gunsight Type I Mk.III - for Tempest Mk.V (and late Typhoon)
Widely used type of gunsight that was used in war-time Tempest fighters and many other Britain's fighter machines.

129-5108 - Tempest - Main undercarriage strengthened legs
Nicely detailed resin cast undercarriage legs for Special Hobby Tempest kits. These legs are not only more detailed than the plastic ones, but being made from special heat-hardened resin material they also possess some extra rigidity.

Not a kit I have or likely will buy, but it's great news for those who do build it. At 1/32nd scale, these sorts of details really "make" a build.

I recently completed on of these and most of that resin (with the notable exception of the U/C legs came with the kit.
