Some exciting teasers from Special Hobby this month of what's in the works! A 1:32 Yak-3 that should be a guaranteed hit is joined by a trio of equally interesting 1:48 kits.
There are no details available yet - and not even box art for one of them - but the line-up should get mouths watering.

First off is 100-SH48176 - Pfalz E.1. This may well be the excellent Gavia kit making a welcome return.

100-SH48120 - Bücker Bü 181 Bestmann. The MPM stable released a Bestmann back in the early days of low-run styrene kits - perfectly buildable, but left behind by the dramatic advances we've seen in moulding technology since. So, if this is a new kit produced to current standards, it'll be a real must for Luftwaffe enthusiasts.

As will item 100-SH48177 - Junkers Ju 88C-4 Night Intruder. Maybe a tie-in with ICM - a new solid-nose Ju 88 is long overdue and opens up a myriad of modelling options.

Time will tell the full story for all the projects - so stay tuned to Aeroscale for full details as we receive them.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.

I heard some sqwak last weekend about a 1/72nd Casa 212. Wonder when we'll hear more?

If the Ju-88 is a tie in with Zvezda I'll get one, although I'm still holding out for the 1/48 Beaufort they announced 5 years ago.

Hi Luciano I meant ICM - a classic case of thinking one thing and typing another! All the best Rowan

Thanks Rowan, I knew what you meant and I'd still get one

"the 1/48 Beaufort they announced 5 years ago." Yeah, that.

My prayers have finally been answered-looks like the Casa 212 will be out later this year or early 2017. The sprue shots I saw looked very nice!
