Rowan Broadbent has announced spectacular new 1:32 decals for WNW's post-war Ninak and its Russian counterpart, plus a limited edition 1:48 set for Eduard's SPAD XIII.
32059 - Post-War Airco DH9A and 32060 - Polikarpov R-1 (Soviet-built DH9A)
It has always been our intention to attempt to keep our sets available, reprinting when we believe that sufficient demand still exists. In addition we will, from time to time produce sets in strictly limited numbers and which will never be re-printed, like the 48038L SPAD XIIIs of Frank Luke – see below. The subjects for these will be chosen for particularly striking or flamboyant markings or particular pilots or historic actions. They will first be offered to our established customers for a limited time, before going on general sale.

All our decals are, of course, intended to be applied to models but we also believe that these Limited Editions will be likely to retain their original value or perhaps even appreciate, over time. The resulting models will be very striking, though, so we would hope that most customers will want to build them!

Scheduled for release EARLY AUGUST 2016

Photo-etched wire wheels will also be available – please visit our website late June for details.

32059 - Post-War Airco DH9A - pre-order at GBP13.50 instead of GBP15.50.

48038L SPAD XIIIs of Frank Luke - Limited Edition decal set.
This decal set, 48038L, is intended for the Eduard kit of the SPAD XIII (Late version) and includes marking for three SPADs flown by the celebrated American Ace, Lt. Frank Luke.

Two complete models can be finished using these decals and full camouflage scheme patterns for Bleriot and Bernard built SPADs are included, together with alternate cockades featuring both French and USAS blues. The set comes with full colour side and plan views for each aircraft, as usual on glossy photo paper.

Produced in conjunction with Aviattic, whose 1/32nd scale version has been on sale for the last few months, the detailed historical booklet was compiled by Richard Andrews of Aviattic with the full cooperation of Stephen Skinner, whose excellent book “The Stand” from Schiffer Publishing Ltd incorporates much new research adding detail to Frank Luke’s life and in particular, his final action.

Remember that we charge a SINGLE Post & Packing charge PER SHIPMENT.
