Special Hobby have sent us details of their latest CMK resin sets, including Spitfire and Blenheim upgrades and a range of modern US ordnance in several scales.
"4337 - Spitfire Mk.I – 1/48 Control Surfaces for Airfix kit
This control surfaces set offers separate ailerons, elevators (the tailplane is to be used from the kit) and a rudder. The cast parts feature very fine inspection panels and engraved lines.

4338 - Spitfire Mk.I – 1/48 Armament set - for Airfix kit
The iconic Spitfire Mk.I was armed with eight Browning .303 machine guns. This highly detailed set offers the modeller to portray his Spitfire model with all armament compartments open and the detailed MGs well visible.

4340 - Matra Type 155 SNEB Rocket Launcher Pod (2 pcs) 1/48
The Matra 155 pod for eighteen 68mm unguided rockets have been used with large number of military aircraft, both fixed-wing and helicopters, mainly of British, French or Israeli origin in service with many armies of the world. The Matra pods were carried under different types such as were for example the F-4 Phantom or MFI-9. In the set are two exquisitely detailed resin cast pods with different parts for their rear sections and a decal sheet with neccessary stencilling.

4341 - Mk. 82 Bomb (2 pcs) 1/48
One of the most commonly used type of modern American bombs, the 500lb Mk.82, saw the service for the very first time during the war in Vietnam. It is of LDGP – Low Drag, General Purpose type. The Mk.82 bomb is still used today and also serves as a basis for many modernised guided-bomb types.
By assembling the parts of our set, the modeller gets two bomb units and after painting, the included decal sheet with stencils may also come handy.

4342 - Mk. 82AIR BSU49B Bomb (Air Inflatable Retarder) (2 pcs) 1/48
The Mk.82 AIR is one of the improved versions of the standard Mk.82 type. It is equipped with a BSU-49/B tail section, or so-called Air Inflatable Retarder, kind of merge of a chute and a baloon. After the bomb is dropped, the nylon-made retarder gets inflated behind the body of the bomb using the aerodynamical forces.

Glad to see more high-quality ordnance, especially in 1/32nd scale. And especially important are the stencils.
