ICM have sent us CAD renders of their forthcoming quarterscale Chaika. The kit is due for release later this year.

ICM have already kitted the Polikarpov I-153 very successfully in 1:72, so the larger scale version has been eagerly awaited ever since it was first announced some time ago. Happily, it looks like the wait is almost over and the 100% new-tool kit is due to appear soon: http://www.icm.com.ua/news/412-i-153-chaika-wwii-soviet-biplane-fighter-100-new.html

We'll bring you more details of MODEL KIT No 48095 - I-153 "Chaika" as soon as we receive them.

Sweet! I've wanted a 1/48 Chaika ever since Sir Tim Wallace got those I16's and the "Chaika" restored and flying. But was to chicken to take on the CA offering! Lol

This is suach a great news. I will maybe get all of them, the Ju-88 for sure. The only missing thing now is the Pe-2 from Zvezda, whci hwas announced for this Year. So many great kits, so little time....
