Glen Coleman has sent us shots of a test shot of Kitty Hawk's forthcoming OV-10A Bronco fully-built and painted. This classic Vietnam-era version joins the company's existing second-generation OV-10D in an extended series of largescale Broncos.
Full details are yet to appear, but expect the kit to be similarly priced to the earlier kit and, by the looks of it, available pretty soon. Stay tuned to Aeroscale for more info as soon as we receive it.

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.

Oh dear oh dear, my wallets going to kill me I really like the D variant but now an A variant with Navy markings, that's it I hate Kittyhawk. It's as though they can read my mind and bring out what I like.

Impressive to say the least. I do like the cleaner looks and lines of the OV-10A variant better. Even I would consider building it. Joel

Rowan, I think that I just may take a crack at building the Bronco. I do like the lines of a the A, and the model isn't all that big. Joel

I just received this kit straight from Japan, and I must say it's impressive. I haven't built a scale model in many years, but I just had to have this kit. I flew OV-10A's out of Sembach and Patrick in the early '80's, and I plan to build it in a standard configuration for one of those bases. For the Sembach birds I'll need an unfinned 230 gallon drop tank. I'd like to put 4x LAU-68 launchers on it, but the kit only comes with 2. The downside of the Sembach configuration is that we never carried the guns. For the Patrick configuration I can forgo the drop tank, install 2 rocket launchers, two guns in one sponson, and one practice bomb rack with practice bombs (not in the kit). Either way I've got to wait for a weapons pack or look for something compatible.
