Short of a miracle from The Hornet Project in their quest to recreate de Havilland's lost fighter in 1:1 - the next best thing for modellers looks to be on the way from HpH Model... a largescale resin kit.
But, before you go reaching for your wallet - HpH's DH-103 Hornet is still firmly in their future projects section, with no item number attached. However, the photos published of a test shot show just what a treat lies in store for fans of arguably the ultimate piston-engined "twin" fighter!

Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.

Feel the force Warren... ... There's nothing to be scared of in resin (Except, maybe, the cost for this beauty - but that'd be true of a hand-produced kit in any medium.) All the best Rowan

I might just have to get one of these just to show off the chevron masks that I have done for this aircraft. (I'll have to dig out a picture)
