Excitement has been building since it was announced that the Chaika came out top of Silver Wings' survey of most-wanted kits in 1:32. Now the wait is over with the news this morning that the kit is ready for release at the beginning of April.
The kit includes:
- 142 resin parts
- 5 film elements - sheet
- 59 PE parts - sheet
- reinforced: wings and struts
- instruction
- decals for two colour schemes:

1. Soviet Air Force, 71st Fighter Regiment Red Banner Baltic Fleet, Summer 1942
2. Finnish Air Fore, 3/LeLv 6 Römpötti, Karelian Isthmus, July 1942
