That's looking beautiful! I love the detail on the figures.

The canopy looks superb - have you polished it or given it a coat of Future/Klear to get the finish. Also, what did you use for the blast tubes? They look just like the polished steel in period photos.

Hi Rowan. Thanks for the kind comments. Yep I used Future on the canopy. That stuff is fantastic for clear parts. The blast tubes are right out of the box, painted with ModelMaster chrome silver. I was thinking of putting something in each tube to keep debris from getting in like in period photos but I think I'll leave them alone. Thanks for looking,Wingman out.

Thanks Tony. Looks like I will be building a third T-Bolt. Right after I'm done with these I'm starting one for my dad for his birthday to add to his collection. It will be Olive drab with a grey underside. These are both Tamiyas and his will be a Hasegawa. Thanks for looking, Wingman out.

Thanks Francois. To get the chipped paint I used ModelMaster chrome silver mixed with a small dab of raw umber artist oil paint. I put some of this mixture on a short stiff brush and wiped most of it off on a paper towel. [drybrush] Then I just dabbed away until I got what I was looking for. I read about this idea in a Verlinden book. Thanks for the kind comments. I'm going to start weathering Gabreskis plane in a few days, thanks for looking,Wingman out.
