Hi guys. Here is a pic of the T-Bolts that will be going into my Wolfpack dio. The first plane still has to have the stripes added to the fuselage and the flaps.

Looking good! I love the P-47. We are sitting through Band of Brothers right now for the first time and my wife looks at me in amazement when I am picking out the planes. When the Thunderbolts fly over in Bastogne, I about jumped out of my seat shouting "Look dear, P-47's. P47's!! "

Thanks guys. Next time I'll try to add more pics. I'm still trying to learn this computer thing. I'll start putting the fuselage stripes on the Gabreski plane probably this weekend. Thanks for looking, Wingman out.

That doesn't surprise me, although I didn't mention the sound did I?

Yep looking good.
Have you seen my post about more pics for the aircraft gallery HERE ? If these beauts are finished in time then they will certainly be contenders.

Hi Michael

Those are looking superb! I can't wait to see the Feature at the end of this build!

As regards Band of Brothers, I read somewhere that the P-47 was an R/C model... is that an apocryphal story?

All the best

No, what they did is they used a scale P-47 to get the angles for the shots in the air, then drew a CGI one for the series!

Thanks Mal. What's the deadline to have them done? I still have to shoot a gloss coat, apply decals, apply weathering, improve the spinning props that I already made, finish assembling the crewmen that will be sitting or laying on the wing of each aircraft and build the base for the dio. I plan on doing a lot in the next few days. THANKS to everyone at Amorama for all your hard work running this site. I really enjoy visiting everyday,Wingman out.
