A couple of pics of the P-47 at Chino getting ready for the Air Show this weekend.

The 47's, 51's, and 25's will all be sporting Stripes in Honor of D-Day.

I bet they did not do it that way during war time!, I dont thinked they masked at alll..Looks good tho..P47's are the best!

For the most part, I believe that used a stencil.

Jeff you and Johnny are probably both right. In the case of this plane (and the others being painted) there's some time, the show is a week away. I just thought it was interesting to see them mask off for stripes. If you go to www.planesoffame.org you can see last years show pictures and give it about a month you'll be able to see pics from this year. Kind of a cool place to be able to hang out.
