There seems to be 2 type of finishing coats in the Alcad line,
the lacquer and the aqua gloss.
Which one are you referring to?
I’m referring to the lacquer. I’ve never tried the Aqua Gloss, maybe that’s what he’s referring to. I’ve neve4 had any problems with the lacquer over any type of paint—acrylics, enamels or lacquers, but I airbrush it on (as I said, right over clear parts). Not sure about brushing it on, as it’s made for airbrush application. They also make a semi-gloss and a “slight sheen”, as well as a flat.
