Richard Alexander has sent us news of Wingnut Wings' new kits timed for Scale Models Expo in Wellington - which will undoubtedly dash the hopes of anyone expecting a certain Fokker triplane... but, along with the exciting new Junkers D.1, there are some real specials lined up with the re-release of previously sold-out classics with exclusive new resin figures by Mike Good.

Are these available for pre-order? The Red Baron plane looks like it could be fun to build.

The link I put up yesterday didn’t have the Immelmann figure, but as I said yesterday, I hope the figures indicate WnW is ready to start the figure line, which has been “in development” since 2009. It would also be great to see these figures sold separately, as many folks already have the kits. For those that don’t have these four kits, it’s time to get them as they are all sold out in their regular line, and will likely be rapid sellers in this line too!
