Interesting, besides the price being way more then I'm willing to pay for a model, where does one display builds of this size?

Nice, but imagine the expansion I would need for my workbench and spray booth to complete this, then where to display it.

Richard,
I don't even have room for the 1/144 scale B-52 on my display shelves. The largest models to date I've got displayed are the 1/48 scale P-61A & the 1/48 scale B-25B. I'm looking at 4 engine bombers but in 1/72 scale.

I saw it. Just can't imagine how main stream modelers have the room for these monsters and the cash to purchase them. And as Kevin said, you'd need a major expansion to both your modeling bench and your paint booth. My wife surely would kill me even if I brought the topic up. and I'm the one who wants to sell our house and move down south to a condo.

I hear ya buddy! I'm already in my retirement home-- I have enough trouble figuring out how to display additional 1/72 kits! Wonder how many of these will really sell?

Russ,
I've still got some friends including my Brother on LSP, so I do stop by every once in a while. And you can count on 1 hand and a few fingers how many PBYs that's been attempted to be built. I know of 2. One was never finished, and the current one is a cut-a-way with the wings removed so it will fit in his display case. Price and size even for those guys is a major issue.
