I went right off ICM Aircraft kits , after getting and trying to build their 1:48 Hs126B-1 kit -- a proper twisted bit of crap !! , even the plastic it was moulded in was crap !!! -- anyone else tried this kit yet ?

I like icm kits. I have their old 1/48 Spitfire and yes, it is a dog. The quality control was bad. But I have build some of their more recent models (serveral 1/72 Polikarpov's) and those are great little kits in both details and fit.

You must have been unlucky with the contents of the Hs 126 Kevin. A friend of mine has the kit and I had a look at it last night and it looked fine.

I have a soft spot for ICM models as well Remco. I actually enjoyed building the various marks of 1/48 Spitfires ICM produced. Their 1/48 Mustang and Bf-109F-4 were enjoyable build as well

I have seen many of the new ICM aircraft productions and I have been very impressed for the most part. I accept that the addition of photo etched parts for areas such as seat belt harnesses should be looked for. The only complaint I can sometimes level is that some ejector pin marks cause some real difficulties.

Hi all

I've certainly hit some problems with recent mouldings of their 1:48 Ju 88. The original one I reviewed fitted together beautifully, but two new sets of mouldings both have nasty warping issues that will be tough to correct. I'm preparing for a build of one of them, so we'll see how a get on straightening out the offending areas...

All the best

Rowan
