It's always a pleasure to see new builds from Jean Barby and he's back in style after an enforced lay-off. For his first feature of 2016, he's taken Italeri's Saetta to new levels.

well that is one of the most sophisticated spray jobs I have seen so far. You made an magnificient job on this model! May I ask you which airbrush and colours you are using?

Cheers

Sure! I use an Harder and Steinbeck airbrush with a 0,2mm nozzle. All paints are from the Gunze range diluted with Mr Color thinner. The rest is practise and more practise plus a close scrutiny of the pics of the real plane when available. Cheers.

Glad to see you back. You and "the other Frenchman" (you know who, I trust) are two masters whose work I hope to emulate, but never equal. This is a magnificent build. Love the landing gear well detail, not to mention the fantastic paint job.

Jean,
Just a truly outstanding build. I did question why all the extra detailing in the bay behind the engine, till you turned it over and it's all clearly visible through the wheel wells.

Like everyone else, your camo paint scheme is superb both technically and conforms closely from photographs I've seen.

Nice and detailed build. I did the same model. However, from these photos it seems to me that the model's wing dihedral is inadequate - it is too straight, should be a bit more angled, so that the upper wing surfaces have about 1 degree angle in respect to the horizontal axis.
