To complement their exciting new 1:48 Horten Ho 229, Zoukei-Mura have released a set of photo-etched wood grain masks. The set includes two styles of grain patterning.

You can't blame ZM for trying to make a bit of splash - "Another set of wood stencils" doesn't have quite the same ring to it in marketing speak, does it.

I guess it´s all in how inflexible one is regarding the value he assigns to Truth. In any case, publicists routinely use much wicked tricks than that, dont´t they? What I would like to know is how these etched masks behave when bent to conform them to surfaces with simple or even double curvature.
