Honestly, I don't see how having a app for modeling on your phone makes much sense. My modeling time is free time at home on my computer. The vast majority of phone/text time on my phone is business related. Break time when I do decide to use my phone as a mini computer is more for news, weather, and sports related. Just an older person's view.

For the most part I agree but I did run across an app that actually comes in handy especially when I visit the few LHS's in my area. The app is called Modelkit http://www.id6.ch/id6_WebSite_en/Home.html . I think it is only for the iPhone. I have used it standing in the paint isle trying to match paints where they might not have brand x I am looking for but I could use brand y.

Cheers

Not just for phones,Someone could log it on to a Tablet like I-Pad or an Android tablet and refer to it at their work bench also.

Anthony,
I really didn't think of that, as my computer desk is at a right angle to my workbench in my "Man Cave" so that I'm always online before, during, and after a model session.

Hi Joel

Do you ever get a problem with sanding-dust or paint particles? I sometimes bring my laptop or Chromebook into my workshop, but they don't stay there.

I've got an old Android tablet somewhere, so I'll give the app a try - a digital weathering manual readily to hand sounds rather neat.

All the best

Rowan,
All the time. I'm always cleaning my monitor screen. Most likely it knocks a few yeas of life off of my machine as well. But there is no way my wife is going to let me have a model room and a computer room too.
