A Fieseler Fi156C Storch in the markings of the German army aircraft used in the rescue of Italian dictator Mussolini, is this months Hasegawa 1/32nd release.

I built the Tristar version in 1/35th and it was a little gem. This seems like something that could be handled by a decal company to me.

My Googling has led me to believe this is quite an old kit. In a previous boxing, it came with three marking options, one of which was SU+LL- and at the time they said that this was the Mussolini aircraft- easy to mistake SJ and SU in a photo. This earlier release also had the option of skis. I'm not sure I like the trend of Hasgawa kits getting more and more expensive, with fewer options.

The Tristar version is still around at a very good price, and absent the differences between 1/35th and 1/32nd, it's a superb model IMO.

I have built the kit with General Rommel in it (before 3 years,, when I wasn't exactly building models. Was more like ruining kits )

The first STOL aircraft is more than welcome with these great markings and in this scale

Cheers Nick
