Since I wasn't paying attention, whose kits are they? Looks good, are you planning a dio of just sharing?

Hey Mark, thanks for the kind word. No, as far as dioramas go this is about as far as I go. I started making my own bases a couple of years ago. I try to have a base for almost every aircraft I build.

The bases are very basic admittedly, just a piece of plywood airbrushed overall black then I go to work with some grass or some ballast for model railroads which are colored a desert color.

It sets the aircraft off a bit I think. The kits are both 1/72 scale, the scale I tend to work in the most. The B-17 is the old Revell kit, I built it as a kid in the 70's, thought I'd try it again. It's okay, not as nice as the more modern kits. The Me-109 is from Hasegawa.

Hey Russel. The Revell B-17 was one of the last kits I finished before I moved out of my parent's place in the mid '70's. Sadly it was one of the first to go 10 years later.

Too bad Mark. I don't any of the kits I threw together as a youngster! Might be good since I probably got glue fingerprints on the canopies! I had fun though. Had a ball building. My models are orders better today; but nothing replaces those memories. Russell
