Hi guys, Ive been checking out weathering materials & came across this MIG P410 OIL & GREASE STAIN MIXTURE. Can this be used on model aircraft for exhaust, gun stain effects or is it primarily used on scale armour etc..

Regards.
Sean.

I was just thinking about this product the other day. I would really like to hear what people have to say about it.

Hi Sean and Alex

it is to simulate oil and grease on flat armour so it is glossy which rules out most of the uses you mentioned. Of course it can be used for Oil and Grease stains .. wonder where it got its name ....

In general I do not think any modelling technique or product is fixed to use only with one modelling branche. if you find a product that suits your style .. use it as you feel it works. I have learned a lot from non-aircraft articles in mags or on the web ....

all the best

Steffen
