Eduard have updated their website with some infos and pictures of their forthcoming 1:48 scale Fw 190 D-9 model. It looks very promising!

Looks very promising! I like the yellow tailed JG 26 birds and they seem easy to paint without airbrush also.

The wheel wells look "bit" different than on the DML's trimaster boxing I got on stash.

That is one neat cover also, would love to get it hi-res as my wallpaper.

Hi Jean-Luc

Hmmm - very exciting! I love the detail at the rear of the engine. While I was digging through my boxes of books the other day, I rescued my Fw 190D refs ready for this beauty!

All the best

If it's the same quality as their BMW engined kits (which it should be), they are going to have another real winner. It looks like the gun bays will have the open/closed option too.

Well i searched my photos from Gatow and i know i have shot the tail but sadly i cannot find it now.

This is their Fw 190 A-8 but the fin should be the same

The Eduard looks definitely fat (even worse that the A- Series which I already thought are a bit on the thick side)

as written in the other thread I hope it is just an optical trick

all the best
