For the WWI group build, which started this week, I'm building an ALBATROS DII OAW (austrian built).

The top of the engine can be seen on top of the cowling, so I told myself : It's time to detail the engine, which I'm doing for the first time !!!!
Phantom gave me yesterday a great link for reference, so here is the result :





Of course, 80% of the work I've done won't be visible once the plane is closed ! #:-)

looks great, nice work, im building the D.Va, the engine is the same, funny, we have almost done the same mods to it, I havent gotten the sparkplug wires on yet, but yours looks great.

Phantom : this is the beginning of a 1/48th eduard kit.

Bender : you know what, I'm finding it rather rassuring that we're doing the same mods ! :-)

You've got it easy then. I'm building the 1/72 Roden kit of the D.III for the campaign.
