I think thats one of the most awesome kits Ive ever seen.Tamiyas spitfire wll be my next project.

The Merlin engine does look impressive.

I saw it for sale at my LHS 2 days ago ...the kit was gone in about 2 hours!..lol...I cant afford this kit ...shes pricey!

Maybe there's just something about Spitfires! I'm sure Mal would agree! I remember I was in Hannants years ago the day Airfix released their 1:48 Spitfire Mk22/24 and Seafire 47. The staff were literally selling them straight from the packing cases as fast as they could open them - there wasn't even time to stick price tags on the kits and put them on the shelves!

I believe it ...the Spitfire is just the most beutiful aircraft to have flown ..in my opinion...
