Hello! and welcome to my first *Proper* aircraft build log.
i will be buildign the amtech p-40 K which includes a resin tail and some newer cockpit and exhaust parts that were not manufactured with the original ERTL kit. the tail is fairly nice, the engraving is a little deeper than the kits usual panel lines, so i will deepen those to match (as best as i can)
Also in theis build Mr Eduard is coming to visit, with his express mask set for the K, and the set for the Amt-ERTL p-40 E with the pre painted pe bits.
guset starring today will be True details P-30e/n wheel set (weighted*give me a break they were the cheapest *) and Ultracast P-40 F-N Flared exhausts, and the Ultracast p-40 Seats with British harnesses

I will be keeping an eye on this one also. With the combination of P-40s and guitars you just can't go wrong.

well As im building this alongside the Nardi, i havent got much done! but im enjoying this so far.! the tail came off okay (seemings i dont have a razor saw) and i have been re scribing the panel lines a little to make them a little more prominent,

Bye old tail!!

hello new one

ulracast exhausts fitted

and compared to the kit ones

and a one wheel bay has been done

im enjoying this so far, im planning on detailing the office a little more, has anyone got any clear cockpit floor, and sides detail photos, also a pohoto of the area where the rudder peadsl live would be good!
thanks for following!

Looking really good James! The blending of the resin tail into the plastic looks very neat.
