The color of the flaps on my B-17F looks like it is the same as the color of the fuselage interior. My research shows B-17F's had dull dark green interior, maybe interior green.
Any input on the flap color would be appreciated since I intend to model it with the flaps down if I can. Thanks, Russell.

Russell, all of the reference pics I have on the B-17,and I got a good bit of them, show them parked with the flaps up, but I did find a couple that show them taxi-ing with flaps extended, and the color appears to be the interior green or maybe slightly darker, not much though. My guess is they would be the same color as the interior to protect against corrosion. Hope this helps and good luck with your build. "Q"
