Hi Steve, It is based on an actual truck.It's a Western Star conventional cab. I couldn't tell you anything about the engine, gearbox or chassis origins, but the cab and bonnet are Western Star. I hope that helps. Grubby.   READ

Thanks for the nice comments Damian and Steve. To answer your question Steve - yes I have sorted the colours, sort of. I'm pretty happy with the underwing French grey, less so with the khaki. The latter was spot-on the money when applied over grey primer on the rudder, but went a much darker gree...   READ

Torsten, those P-61's are looking great. Looks like you're on the home straight now. By comparison, I'm a few weeks behind you, with more filling/sanding and canopy masking ahead of me.
